Trends and Their Meaning

Trends are a natural part of fashion. They appear, evolve, and disappear, bringing inspiration, new perspectives, and energy into a space that might otherwise remain unchanged.
And yet — their true meaning is often not where we look for it.
What a trend really means
A trend is not just a specific cut, color, or material, but a reflection of its time.
It responds to the mood of society, to the need for change, to the search for a new expression.Sometimes it is bold and loud, at other times almost unnoticeable — but it is always temporary.
Inspiration, not a rule
The problem does not lie in trends themselves, but in the moment they become a rule.
When inspiration turns into pressure. When we stop asking what suits us — and start following what is current.
At that moment, clothing moves away from personality and loses its naturalness.
Why trends don’t work for everyone
What works on one woman may not work on another.
Every body has its own rhythm, every personality its own energy.
A trend does not take this difference into account. It is general. And that is why it can be visually strong, yet personally empty.
The silence between trends
There is a space that is not influenced by what is current.
A space where clothing is not created according to a season, but according to the person.Where the goal is not effect, but harmony.
It is there that pieces are created which do not feel “modern” only for a moment, but remain natural even with time.
Couture as a different approach
Couture does not stand in opposition to trends, but it does not build on them either.
It is based on a different principle.
On attention. On working with detail. On perceiving a specific personality.
A trend may serve as inspiration — but it is never the goal.
When a trend has meaning
In the moment we accept it consciously. When we take from it only what resonates with us.
When we do not adopt it, but translate it into our own language.
Then it becomes a personal interpretation.
Conclusion: less following, more feeling
Trends come and go. Personal style remains.
Not as a fixed form, but as the ability to perceive what is right for us.
It is not about following what is current. It is about pausing for a moment and discovering what remains when everything else fades.
And that is where true style begins.
